• With the turnkey package, Huntington acts as the general contractor and handles everything from start to finish. Unfortunately, this package is only available in some parts of Vermont and New Hampshire.

Standard finishes offer that traditional New England look and feel, and buyers have a wide range of material options. Upgrades are, of course, available. Everything from flooring to counters and fixtures can be upgraded to builder-grade and even high-end options.

Huntington has more than 75 modular farmhouse floor plans in their Stock Homes collection ranging from 600 square feet to 3,000 square feet or more.

Single-family and multi-family designs are available, so there’s an option for every buyer.

Homes in this collection are the embodiment of New England charm and have an old-world feel about them. Gabled roofs, wrap-around porches and garages are standard features in many of the homes.

You’ll find a variety of home styles in this collection, including colonial, ranch and Cape Cod, and shingle style.

Huntington TruHome

Huntington’s new collection, TruHome, is a curated collection of homes that offer a higher-quality structure at an affordable price.

Homes are built with a tight envelope, making them very energy efficient. Homes in this collection are also solar-ready, which means that you can save even more on your energy costs.

TruHomes are:

• Electricity-based, so none of the systems are powered by fossil fuels.
• Many of the materials are made with recycled materials.
• Materials are also low VOC with a low carbon content to promote better indoor air quality.

Buyers also have a higher quality selection of siding, hardware and flooring. Few upgrades are available, and most finishes have been pre-selected. However, buyers do have the following upgrade options:

• Hardwood stairs
• All hardwood or tile flooring
• Walkout basements
• Quartz or granite vanity tops
• Granite countertops in the kitchen
• Standing seam roof
• Tiled showers

Garages, decks and porches can also be added to your home. Some customizable options are also available. For example, you can flip the floorplan or change the location of windows and doors. Windows can also be added as long as they don’t impact the home’s mechanical equipment.

Although there’s less room for customization with TruHomes, you save on energy and overall construction costs. That will give you more room in your budget for the upgrades and finishes that are available.

Custom Homes from Huntington Homes

If you want your home to be truly your own, then Huntington Homes offers custom home options. With custom home options, Huntington will build the core of the home in their facility, but the majority of the construction work will take place on-site.

The company has several Preferred Design Partners that can help buyers bring their dream home vision to life.

For example, Huntington Homes built the base modules for the Modern Farmhouse project in 2012. Albert, Righter & Tittman Architects, Inc. served as the architect, and H + Y Construction as the general contractor.

That home features a 12” double stud wall as well as triple pane windows and a high-efficiency heating and cooling system. In addition, the two-story modular farmhouse features a grand fireplace, window seating, an open kitchen and plenty of windows for natural lighting.
